XVI Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) of the OAS

First Preparatory Meeting

The First Preparatory Meeting of the XVI IACML (May 22), marked the beginning of the negotiation process towards the XVI Conference which takes place on September 23 to 25, 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The delegates agreed on the Proposed Agenda and  Work Schedule and began the discussion of the main ideas for the Declaration of Buenos Aires.
