Since 2000, the Regional Education Indicators Project (PRIE) has been an important mechanism for monitoring countries' progress toward meeting the education goals of the Summit of the Americas. Indicators

Construction of Indicators
In collaboration with UNESCO, PRIE provides support for countries in their data collection tasks according the questionnaires administered by UNESCO Institute of Statistics (UIS). The UIS then calculates the indicators considered by PRIEMore

Activities needed for development and analysis of indicators
• Evaluate the relevance of the indicators developed on the first stage of the project in relation to the Summit goals in education. Carry out a study on the data sources used (feedback forms) to suggest modifications or improvements to improve their international comparability.More
