The OAS Member States recognize the faculty as a key part in strengthening and improving the education in the Americas. Thus, the program comes with the main objective of addressing the crisis in the quality of education in the region.

This crisis has a negative impact on the preparation of millions of young people to find decent work and to actively participate as citizens in a society that is constantly changing.
