• First Meeting of the CIE
  
  The First Meeting of the Inter-American Committee on Education (CIE) was held on August 13th 2003, in Mexico City; in compliance with the General Assembly Resolution AG/RES1859 (XXXII- O/02) which approves the creation of the said Committee. 

• Second Meeting of the CIE 
  
  The II Plenary Meeting of the Inter-American Committee on Education (OAS Headquarters, Washington , D.C. , October 18-19 th , 2004) represents an important milestone on the path to greater cooperation in education in our Hemisphere.
  
     
•  Third Meeting of the CIE
  
  The III Regular Meeting of the Inter-American Committee on Education, was held on October 26 and 27, 2006 in the Padilla Vidal Salon of the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States at 1889 F St. NW Washington , DC.
  
     
• Fourth Meeting of the CIE
  
  The IV Regular Meeting of the Inter-American Committee on Education , was held on October 14 and 15 , 2008 in Quito , Ecuador.
