Since April 2011, MuNet e-Gov Costa Rica in association with the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) of the Government of Costa Rica work together in the modernization of municipal administration of 34 municipalities and the application of e-Governments strategies in order to increase efficiency, transparency and citizen participation.

The municipalities that benefit from MuNet e-Gov Costa Rica are:
